Roquetas de Mar is a town and municipality of the Spanish province of Almeria and the autonomous community of Andalusia, the judicial capital of the same name, located in the region of Almeria and 19 kilometers west of the provincial capital, Almería. In 2010, 85,808 people had and was the second municipality in the province behind the capital, and the 14th of Andalusia in population.
